Planet of The Sinisters [DEMO]

If you've got a pair of red/blue 3-D glasses handy (who doesn't?) pop them on for this next video. By the way, our live shows are in 3-D, too.

Speaking of shows, keep an eye on the banner at the top of the page for an announcement coming soon. (Or keep an eye in a jar of formaldehyde, if that's more your thing. We don't judge.)

Sin-a-luau [LIVE]

A sin-a-luau is just like a traditional luau, except that it ends with the ceremonial stoning of a pterodactyl effigy.

Spectre Inspector [DEMO]

This ain't your grandma's spectre inspector!

Whatever that means.

Aliens Over My Hammy (aka Saucers Over Sunnyslope) [DEMO]

That's our drummer, Johnny Nightmare, working the theremin with his hidden third arm (and all those doctors that called it a "vestigal limb" must feel pretty stupid right about now. Amputate this, science.)

Death Ray 2063 (DEMO)

The Sinisters leave the graveyard behind to take a little vacation on the steamy shores of an alien planet. The song is Death Ray 2063.

Graveyard Prowler (DEMO)

We'd like to slow it down for this next one. Dead couples only to the dance floor please. Dead couples only.

Rip's Show Post-Mortem

Thanks to everyone that showed up and stayed late for our Sept. 14 show at Rip's.

We were expecting to go on earlier, but instead ended up at the top of an eclectic bill that included performances by The French Girls, Strange Family Circus, Chapelle Des Morts, Mighty Sphinctor, and Of The Earth, before finally taking the stage around 13 o'clock.

More show announcements are coming soon. In the meantime, The Sinisters will be in the abandoned livestock trailer in the Swap Meet parking lot our secret headquarters working on some new music.

Show Announcement: Friday, July 13th, 2012 @ MonsterLand Bar & Grill

The Sinisters have been invited to perform at the new (its only been open a few months) haunted-house themed restaurant, MonsterLand Bar & Grill, on July 13th (yes, that's FRIDAY THE THIRTEENTH! Mwah ha ha !) located at 18 W. Main St., Mesa, Arizona.

This looks like a fun venue and a perfect fit for us, but only creatures of the night need attend, as this is going to be a LATE show! We are scheduled to go on 11:00 PM to 2:00 AM, performing two sets with a short break.

Find out what The Sinisters turn into when the clock strikes midnight!

Join the Club!

That's right--The Sinisters are trying to start some stupid club or something. And we're not even that picky about letting people in yet!*
No blood initiation required. Just ask for a membership card at our next show (that would be Friday, June 22, 2012 at Icehouse Tavern, Phoenix... or whatever it says under the banner at the top of the page). See ya there!

(*Admission to the hobo shanty behind the abandoned wax museum secret clubhouse not included with standard membership.)

Another sample of sin...

Know what will really get this party started? A little high-energy trad' surf (the tune is "X-Hell-Three") and a pocketful of flashcubes.
And yes, this is EXACTLY what the crowd at one of our shows looks and acts like. Come see for yourself (...our next scheduled performance is always posted under the banner at the top of the page.)

All posts containing samples of our music bear the Sounds To Make You Shiver label. Use it to get right to the goods and skip all the yap-yap filler.

In Search Of...

The Sinisters: Cryptozoological fantasy, or a reality? Evidence continues to trickle in. This blurry photograph, taken by an area woman, appears to capture The Sinisters performing on a stage somewhere in Scottsdale. Proof of their existence? You be the judge...

For the Thrifty Sinner

Our big show is coming up this Saturday, and rumor has it there will be a $5.00 cover. Time to start saving those pennies!

An Introduction to The Sinisters

We haven't posted any music so far because all our recordings have been rough and dirty (like a gravedigger's palms!) practice sessions... but what the bleep!. Here's a demo recording of Introduction to Terror.

All future posts containing our music will bear the Sounds To Make You Shiver label at the bottom, so you'll be able to get to them all at once by just clicking the label.

Tract Infection.

Uh oh, looks like The Sinisters have landed on the radar of religious pamphleteer Jack Chick (you know, the guy behind those preachy mini-comic books that people leave in laundry rooms, or hand out on Halloween?) They've just published a new tract called "The Sinisters Urge", which purports to warn about our supposedly unwholesome influence.
We're reprinting the tract in its entirety for info-tainment purposes only, but we better not catch anyone trying to "win souls" by passing out these ridiculous comic books at any of our shows, as we do not endorse this silliness!

Enjoy.

Sinners welcome.

The debut-gig-flyer reboot.

Name Dropping

The Sinisters have landed a slot at AZ Rockabilly's The Big Kahuna event, along with Thee Swank Bastards, The Rebel Set, and Scorpion vs. Tarantula.

This is going ot be an awesome show, Saturday, May 26th, at Chasers on Roosevelt & Hayden in south Scottsdale.

But wouldn't you know it--they got our name wrong on the flyer!
It's The Sinisters, plural, of course. Not to worry. We'll take matters into our own hands. Stay tuned.
